Parking: Ample parking although not covered so our cars were baked by the end of the day. Not the end of the world.
Entrance: We went with the Dutch Lady offer which meant RM140 for Cate and I. Worthit! Ticket queue was ok. Maybe about a 15min wait.
Adult RM140
Child (under 12) RM 110
Offers:
1) Toys R Us and Popular had vouchers offering 30% off.
2) With Dutch Lady milk carton, 1 child gets in free with 1 full paying adult
Park Map:
It was ok, but one big problem we found was that it never indicated what the ride was about and what the height requirements. This meant that we only knew when we got to the ride and even then, it wasn't always that clear what the ride was about. In some cases where you can actually see the ride, it is obvious of course.
Rides:
Queues were ok. Maybe 5-25min for the more kiddy / less popular rides. The more popular / adventurous rides were closer to about 40-60min waits.
We got there at about 10am and left at about 4:30pm. This meant that we couldn't go on all the rides not that we wanted to anyway. Also, to note that I don't think I would've liked to stay beyond that simply cos I was just getting tired.
I don't think I found any particular ride that fantastic but for the kids, it was fine.
We were going to go on the larger roller coaster but when we were about to join the queue, a staff member told us to wait for a few minutes while they sorted out some "technical difficulties". I decided that I didn't really want to do that ride afterall (ACK!). Just as well cos later we saw one of the carriages stuck right at the top of the roller coaster for ages in the boiling hot sun. I am not sure how long they were stuck up there for but it was definitely more than 20min.
Food:
I went to the Market Place. Average quality and average price. Plate of Fish & Chips (adult) was about RM18. Kids meals were about RM15. We later saw that right outside Legoland barriers there is a food mall. It was not that huge really but I heard the food is much cheaper than within the park. In the interest of time, I would not have bothered walking out there to get my lunch then having to walk back.
MiniLand:
The Windsor one had the UK sites such as Bukingham Palace, Tower Bridge etc so it was really nice. The JB one had great lego sculptures too but I think they were of Malaysian sites so I didn't recognise most of them except for the KL Twin Towers. As such, the wow factor wasn't quite there for me. I heard there were Singapore sites too but I must've missed that! Boo....

Weather:
I don't know what anyone can do about this but it was seriously hot at Legoland. There wasn't a lot of shade and they could do with a few more of those mist fans. At some points, C was literally hopping around cos she felt like she was getting burnt alive! Having said that, I can't imagine Legoland being much fun if there was the monsoon type rain that this region is so capable of.
All in all it is worth going to but I still preferred the London Legoland. 7/10
