The girls never fail to amuse me. The latest thing they do is stand at attention when they know I am about to enter a room. It is usually just E & C cos S can never get to position quick enough. E & C will normally stand at each side of the doorway (that I am entering). They will rush ahead of me into a room so that they can get into position to greet me military style. Dead pan face and all. It makes them giggle.
Here's a special one where S managed to get in position too.
What's there not to love about these soldiers!

October Babies!
The kids were bored at home..... so baking they did. Here they are baking a gluten-free chocolate cake.
We had a mini October Babies Party at ours after dinner.
Kids had fun playing charades. Surprisingly, it was the first time for all of them! Much better than Wii or the iPhone. They actually loved it!
What a fun night :) Happy Birthday to the October Babies!!!! xxx

Scoot, Scootier, Scootiest

Bought the 3 girls their first scooters. Emma and Cate got the cheaper 2 wheelers. Had to get Sophie the slightly pricier 3 wheeler since she won't be able to balance so well yet.
They are all thrilled with their scooters. Sophie less so when she realised hers was different to her 姐姐's!
Also got little bicycle bells for each of their scooters from DAISO. Fab.
They are so much easier and more portable than bikes! Perfect for quick trips to the park.
Pleased....

Epitome of The Chew Sisters
Love this pic of my 3 favourite people in the whole world. This single picture captures each of their individual characters to a T.

8:22 ....with pride
We were fortunate enough to get to watch the National Day Parade practice earlier in July. Not all the props were there and also we didn't get to see the real McCoy ministers that Emma is such a fan of,.... but we had the goodie bags and saw most of the performances in their almost full glory, not to mention the fireworks!
On National Day itself, we watched the parade again on TV. When 8:22pm came, Emma and Cate ran over in front of the TV with their little hands on their hearts, to say the Singapore Pledge with the rest of the Nation. (Well more Emma, cos Cate hasn't learnt the pledge yet).
I am proud to be a Singaporean.
Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!!!!
