Well, she has settled into a routine that I can live with. It is by no means perfect, but I am not going to traumatise myself nor Sophie at this point in time.
Sophie is able to be put down in her cot when it is time for bed (usually about 10pm). She may cry for a little while but is normally settled in about 5 min or less. Typically she will wake at about 3am for a feed or a cuddle of sorts which exhausting as it may be, I still look forward to. Then she will go back to sleep on the mattress where I will leave her till the morning. She typically wakes about at around 8am but it does range from 7am - 10am.
Would you consider this a success? Well, I think so. My main objective was to be able to get the little madam into bed without too much of a fuss and having to sleep with her. That part has been accomplished. At least after putting her to bed, I will still have some ME time. Part II of sleep training where I try to get her to sleep through the night will be KIV-ed until further notice....
Final score --> 6.9/10
Over and out! ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
