Training Religiously

Wow, has it been that long?.... Cate was just done with chicken pox last week and Emma is now down with it. So as you can imagine, I have had my hands full....

Emma, needless to say has been a TV addict through her stint at home and while I am normally quite strict with that, I am not sure what else she should be doing with her time! I do ask her to play with her toys, do some craft, do some assessment papers, read books, play the piano,.... but even after all that, there is A LOT of time left, so that's where the TV steps in... (I know, bad mommy)

Anyway, yesterday, Emma was watching the St Philips's Boy's choir on TV.

I asked her what she was watching. Emma's response (completely seriously), "They are Catholics training to become Christians." :O
I couldn't help myself and just cracked up. I don't know how she got that idea or what she thinks she has done in her short life to to have"graduated" from a Catholic to a Christian...
Anyway before my several Catholic friends and family take offense, I did correct her.
Kids says the darndest things....

Going to try to get her cleared at the dr's tom so hopefully you'll see her soon! She's getting a bit nuts from the lack of human physical contact. The only person she is allowed to touch is Cate cos i don't want to transfer anything to Sophie being her primary caregiver... Poor ems is so needy!

Ja - another reason I've been quiet blogging is cos I've got a new phone and there's no direct upload to blogger unlike my previous phone. :( Hope to see you soon! It's been a while....
