Below is a "Scary Story" that Emma wrote in her own time. When I read it, I laughed till I cried, then I just wanted to cry.... Hope she is going to be able to cope in Primary 1!....
For those who just can't get it, here's a translation (or at least the gist of it):
"Once upon a time, a monster passed my house and saw a strange thing when I was sleeping and I heard a noisy sound coming out from my door. Then I walked up and peeked outside and saw 10 monsters waiting for me. The monster became bigger and fatter. Some of them were very scary and bigger than the others and stronger than all of the dads and mums and God. It was so scary that I called mummy and daddy and my biggest brother and my biggest sister, then all the sisters."

omg, this is soo soo cute!!! english is such a crazy language to spell.
Haha....I no!!!
i LOVE it!! 'poner'. hahaha!!
Hey, it's Li Ling here. I am impressed! Matt has NEVER written more than 4 sentences, not to mention a story! I am worried about P1!
Emma actually only writes longer stories when it is on her own. When I ask her to write something or if it is for her school journal entry, it is also just a couple of lines and always the same ol' thing too!
i read "and god it was so scary..." i couldn't see the punctuation... and thought goodness is she 'swearing' already!!
taila's teacher showed us her 'spelling' the other day and she spelled THORBEE (strawberry)
I know who the monsters are. It's AAA in their green jerseys ! hahaha ! -Sheng
hilarious! but must let her know, nothing is bigger than God!!!
I know! Can't believe she called on her non-existant bigger brothers and sisters, not to mention ALL HER SISTERS (0yrs and 3yrs) but not GOD to help her!!!
Godma, I think you need to have a word with her!
