Going into Month 10.... What am I? An Elephant?

Ok,.... my due date of 25th July has come and gone and surely Baby Sophie is throbbing to be released from the contraints of my tummy!!!

1. My hospital bag has been packed and now half unpacked cos I just need the stuff in there.


2. The confinement nanny has arrived in Singapore last week from Malaysia and is waiting for my call...


3. Emma can't count down to Sophie's arrival anymore cos she doesn't know how to go less than zero.
   
4. Everyone is asking me if I have popped - SMSes, Emails, Facebook messages, MSNs..... "Has she arrived?", "Have you popped?", "You birthed?" The answer is NO! :(


5. Paul is tiring of his standby mode and asking when he can go back to his training for the looming 70.3.
   (He hasn't been going on long rides and swims etc cos Cate arrived within 2hrs, so judging from what ppl say where it just gets faster each time, he can't really be that far away from me or away from me for long lengths of time training if he wants to be around for the birth of our child!)


6. I have started to binge eat cos I am just thinking that baby isn't satisfied with my weight gain. I have managed to put on 2kg just over the weekend as a result.
   (Sophie you'd better be taking it all with you when you leave my body!)

What's going on????

Now the question is whether I should induce. I am not hot on that idea as I am keen on going as natural as possible. I have also heard such horror stories of ppl going through 48hrs labour followed by an emergency C-section after inducing!!! That is so not for me. Especially after my 2 very smooth deliveries with Emma & Cate. I would really like to keep my memories of childbirth as glorious as it has been this far. After some discussion with Prof PC Wong, we have concluded that I will just hang in there as long as it is safe for the baby. Maybe she just wants to be an August baby like her mummy...
