Paul took me for a nice birthday dinner to Il Lido at Sentosa. The food was not bad but it was pretty noisy! Kind of like a chinese restaurant.
Service was very good.
It was funny cos Paul asked them to arrange a cake for me. He thought they would basically just charge us for a cake. As it turned out, they did bring a cake. We had the candle and birthday song palava, then they took the cake away. The waiter then brought me a little slice..... Later we realised that they did not let me cut the cake and that they didn't bring a slice to Paul either. It was then we realised that they probably used the same cake for all the birthdays in a nite! Well, we totally didn't mind since we ordered dessert from the menu anyway. But what a strange arrangement!
